ASDA-EMIS is a project dedicated to the collection and analysis of environmental data to identify pollutants, climate anomalies, and the impacts of industrial activities.

Through machine learning and Artificial Intelligence, the system processes forecasts and real-time alerts to mitigate environmental risks and protect infrastructures. Through the analysis of data from RADAR/SAR, optical, hyperspectral, and meteorological sensors, ASDA-EMIS develops predictive models to anticipate critical events such as climate shocks and infrastructure failures. A specific focus concerns the security of electrical grids, monitoring land surface temperature (LST) to prevent overloads and fires. The system also identifies unauthorized occupations and waste accumulations, optimizing land management. All data is integrated into a geographic Data Lake, ensuring continuous and automated monitoring.

The project is carried out and funded within the framework of the “Scoperta Imprenditoriale” program of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
